In Lunaery, the world system offers the people who lives there three distinct initial classes upon reaching a certain level. Humans can receive their first class at level 10, while other races—such as Dwarves, Elves, and Vampires—unlock theirs at level 15.
Warrior, clad in sturdy armor, wielding mighty weapons like swords, axes, or hammers, the Warrior embodies resilience and raw physical power. They are the front-line combatants, the first to charge into the fray, their tough bodies absorbing blows that would fell normal people. Their role is often to protect their allies, drawing enemy attention and creating openings for others to exploit. Warriors are masters of melee combat, their skills honed through rigorous training, allowing them to deliver devastating strikes and stand their ground against overwhelming odds. Some warriors could also move faster like the ones with rapier proficiency, but they will never Rangers in terms of speed.
Ranger, equally adept with a drawn bow or a concealed dagger, the Ranger embodies versatility and agility. They are the masters of stealth and reconnaissance, their nimble movements allowing them to traverse treacherous terrain with ease and strike from the shadows. Their ranged prowess allows them to dispatch foes from a distance, while their close-quarters capabilities ensure they are no pushovers in a tight spot. Quick, perceptive, and adaptable, capable of both precise strikes and strategic maneuvering.
Mage, the wielder of arcane magic and the architect of reality-bending spells. Unlike the physical might of the Warrior or the natural skills of the Ranger, the Mage draws power from the very fabric of magic, manipulating elemental forces, mending wounds with a healing skill. Their arsenal is vast and varied, ranging from focused bolts of energy to devastating wide-area spells that can turn the tide of battle. However, this immense power often comes at the cost of physical fragility. Mages typically favor robes over heavy armor, relying on their shields for defense. Their strategic positioning and careful spellcasting are crucial, as a well-placed magical assault can cripple entire enemy formations or provide vital support to their allies. The Mage is the intellectual powerhouse of the group, capable of both immense destruction and healing.
These initial classes serve as a foundation and eventually branch into more advanced options once level 40 is reached.
