In Lunaerys, the goddess created four races: Humans, Elves, Dwarves, and Vampires. After the celestial war, which saw the defeat of the world-devouring dragon, a new race emerged—the Nixians. These creatures of dark energy are the spawn of the world-devouring dragons. In this section, you will learn more about each race, including their strengths and weaknesses.
Humans: They live on the continent of Celestera. Humans are a short-lived race; their average lifespan is only 80 years. They are a balanced race and could excel in both magic and physical strength. They were compatible with all classes, and unlike other races, where they could acquire their first class advancement at level 15, humans could acquire their first class at only Level 10. And due to their short lives, they could also level up faster than other races.
Elves: They live on the continent of Lysandria. Unlike humans, Elves were a long-lived race; in fact, they are the longest-lived race in Lunaerys. Longer than vampires. Their average lifespan is 800 years. Although some say some elves could live for two millennia. Even though they were a long-lived race, they are the slowest to level up. Elves were nimble and more attune to mana than the other races, but they are weaker in terms of physical strength, so most were mages; however, some became rogues due to their agility.
Vampires: They were the race of the night. When the night comes, they become faster and stronger in both magical and physical strength. Vampires also have a high regeneration power, although healing potions and magic don’t affect them, they could heal from drinking blood. Vampires inhabit the continent of Anathrad, where the light of Sol, their star, is perpetually blocked by clouds. Vampires typically live up to 400-600 years. If a vampire is exposed to sunlight, their speed, strength, and regeneration power will be weakened.
Dwarves: They are the strongest race in Lunaerys. They live on the continent of Durran. They all have short stature and have long beards. All dwarves are usually warrior class because of their physical strength. They are the opposite of elves. If elves are nimble and have strong magic, Dwarves are slow, but have tremendous strength.
Nixians: they are the race whose sole purpose is to revive their god, the world-devouring dragon. They spread the corruption in the world and can turn other races into their own kind. There were two kinds of nixian: those born from the heart of the world devouring dragon itself, and those who were turned into one. Nixians currently live on the dark continent.
