She is a stunning girl draped in a pure white robe, with long white hair dipped in pale blue and eyes that glittered like the purest gold. Her dazzling white wings sparkled brilliantly, making her a true vision of heavenly light.
But beneath that radiant exterior was a personality as sharp as a blade. Selaphiel was extremely arrogant, believing herself superior to others. She looked down on wingless angels and mortals, calling them “failed” beings. Ambition burned fiercely in her heart—even to the point where she considered stealing another angel’s core to climb the ranks faster. Talk about pride!
The Fall: When Pride Comes Before the Fall
Selaphiel’s arrogance eventually led to her downfall. She mistakenly judged the Goddess Nina as a “failed angel” and even tried to kill her. This was a grave mistake. As punishment, Nina stripped Selaphiel of her angelic status and those magnificent wings and cursed her to live like a mortal—“crawling in the dirt” to learn humility and the value of struggle.
Life After the Fall: A New Selaphiel Emerges
Her transformation wasn’t just spiritual—it showed in her appearance too. The once-silver hair lost its shine, turning ashen and dull. The pale blue tips faded to gray, and her golden eyes became a soft bronze with just a faint glimmer of gold left. Though her wings were gone, her body still held celestial energy, allowing her to heal faster than normal humans.
Selaphiel Today: Attendant and Elemental Summoner
Today, Selaphiel serves as one of Nina’s personal attendants, living as a human.
Though she lost her angelic magic, Selaphiel gained a unique ability called “Elemental Summoner.” This power lets her call forth Valkyries to fight alongside her.
